Hey there, folks! Gather ’round for another episode of “As the Political Circus Turns.” So, picture this: Donald Trump, the man who never met a Twitter feud he didn’t like, decides to take a swing at two retiring Republican House members, Fred Upton and John Katko. And oh boy, did he swing!

In typical Trump fashion, he didn’t hold back, calling them “cowards and weaklings.” Now, I don’t know about you, but I always find it fascinating when one politician starts name-calling another. It’s like a playground fight, but with bigger words and way higher stakes.

Now, Trump’s not one to shy away from throwing around labels, and this time he busted out the classic “RINO” card – that’s Republican In Name Only, for those not in the know. It’s like a political insult bingo, and Trump’s got a full card.

But let’s back up a bit. Upton and Katko have been on Trump’s naughty list for a while now. Upton actually voted to impeach him back in 2021, and Katko joined the “Impeach Trump” club after the whole January 6 Capitol debacle. So, you can imagine, Trump’s not exactly sending them Christmas cards.

Now, the reason these two are hitting the road, they say, is they want to make way for “new blood” in Congress. Sure, that might be part of it, but let’s not kid ourselves – their disagreements with Trump probably played a role too.
