Name: Buckley “Buck” Ramble
Title: Thousand Islands Bureau Chief & Chief Weather Watcher
Outlet: Digital Media USA

Bio:
Buck Ramble — born in a snowbank behind a little shanty house on 5th Ave in Adams; “Yes theres a 5th Ave in Adams”, raised on fish fries, and forged in the fires of small-town gossip. As the Thousand Islands Bureau Chief for Digital Media USA, Buck’s beat includes everything from city council circus acts in Watertown to seagull conspiracies out on Wellesley Island.

Armed with a notepad, a camcorder from 2002, and a pair of binoculars he swears are “standard journalistic issue,” Buck covers the North Country like gravy on poutine. He once tried to interview a deer during hunting season (“for both sides of the story”) and ran a three-part exposé on the mysterious odor outside the Watertown Walmart.

Buck believes in hard facts, firm handshakes, and that every good story starts at the Blarney Stone or ends in a bar fight. He’s got sources in high places — namely the roof of the Paddock Arcade — and isn’t afraid to kayak into breaking news.

Catchphrase: “If it happens north of Syracuse and south of Canada, Buck’s on it — even if he’s a little drunk.”
